ORDERED.
PER CURIAM
On recommendation of the Supreme Court Committee on Professional Conduct, we
hereby accept the voluntary surrender, in lieu of probable disbarment proceedings, of the
license of Alvin Darrell Clay of Little Rock, Arkansas, to practice law in the State of Arkansas.
Mr. Clay was found guilty of felony offenses in the United States District Court on June 4,
2008. In his petition to surrender his license, filed with this court on January 6, 2011, Mr.
Clay acknowledged the felony convictions and stated that he wished to avoid the expense and
distress of disbarment proceedings. Panel B of the Supreme Court Committee on Professional
Conduct recommended initiation of disbarment proceedings based on the felony convictions
and violation of Arkansas Rule of Professional Conduct 8.4(b) and (c). The name of Alvin
Darrell Clay shall be removed from the registry of licensed attorneys, and he is barred and
enjoined from engaging in the practice of law in the State of Arkansas.
