ARKANSAS SUPREME COURT No. CR 08-869 Opinion Delivered COREY WHITE Petitioner October 9, 2008 PRO SE PETITION FOR WRIT OF MANDAMUS [CIRCUIT COURT OF CHICOT COUNTY, CR 2004-121, CR 2004-86] v. HON. DON E. GLOVER, CIRCUIT JUDGE Respondent PETITION MOOT. PER CURIAM On July 24, 2008, petitioner Corey White filed in this court a pro se petition for writ of mandamus contending that the Honorable Don E. Glover, Circuit Judge, had failed to act in a timely manner on two pleadings filed in Chicot County Circuit Court on April 9, 2008,1 a petition for postconviction relief under Arkansas Rule of Criminal Procedure 37.1 that included a request to proceed in forma pauperis and a petition to correct an illegal sentence. An order was entered by Judge Glover on August 5, 2008, that disposed of the pleadings. As the court has acted on the pleadings, the petition for writ of mandamus is moot. Petition moot. 1 Although the pleadings are both file marked April 9, 2008, the petition to correct an illegal sentence indicates that it was sworn before a notary on May 28, 2008.
