PER CURIAM
A jury found appellant Efrain Viveros guilty of possession of methamphetamine with intent
to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts of failure to appear and sentenced him
to an aggregate term of 1320 months’ imprisonment. The Arkansas Court of Appeals affirmed the
judgment. Viveros v. State, CACR 06-173 (Ark. App. Mar. 14, 2007). Appellant timely filed in the
trial court a pro se petition for postconviction relief under Ark. R. Crim. P. 37.1, which was denied.
He has lodged an appeal of that order in this court, and has filed a pro se motion in which he
requests an extension of time in which to file his brief.
Appellant requests additional time to file his brief because he indicates that he has lost
assistance in preparation of his brief and because he is disadvantaged by the fact that the materials
that he must use are in English, when his primary language is Spanish. The request for extension of
time to file the appellant’s brief is the second request for an extension by appellant in this appeal.
Appellant has previously received an extension of thirty days’ time to file his brief. Viveros v. State,
___ Ark. ___, ___ S.W.3d ___ (Feb. 21, 2008) (per curiam). The motion is granted. No further
extensions for filing appellant’s brief will be granted, however. The appellant’s brief is due here no
later than thirty days from the date of this opinion.
