PER CURIAM

Fred Roosevelt Dandridge was convicted by a jury of two counts of rape, two counts of kidnapping, and felony firearms possession, and was sentenced to 182 years' imprisonment. We affirmed. Dandridge v. State, 292 Ark. 40, 727 S.W.2d 851 (1987). Dandridge then filed in the trial court a petition for writ of habeas corpus pursuant to Act 1780 of 2001. The trial court denied the petition, and Dandridge lodged an appeal in this court. Now before us is appellant's verified motion to withdraw his appeal.

The motion to withdraw the appeal is granted.
