Danny Adcock filed a petition for writ of mandamus in this court contending that the Honorable Robert Bynum Gibson, Circuit Judge, had failed to act within a reasonable time on two petitions for reduction of sentence filed in the Circuit Court of Drew County. (The petitions were filed July 9, 2002.) On October 1, 2002, Judge Gibson entered an order disposing of the petitions. As the circuit court has acted in the matter, the petition for writ of mandamus is moot.
