Rodney Barnett filed a petition for writ of mandamus in this court contending that the Honorable David Burnett, Circuit Judge, had failed to act within a reasonable time on a petition for postconviction relief pursuant to Criminal Procedure Rule 37 filed in the Circuit Court of Mississippi County, Chickasawba District, on November 21, 2001. On October 9, 2002, Judge Burnett entered an order disposing of the Rule 37 petition. As the circuit court has acted in the matter, the petition for writ of mandamus is moot.
