IN RE: James Guy TUCKER, Jr.,

a/k/a Jim Guy Tucker,

Arkansas Bar ID # 68067

01-1127 ___ S.W.3d ___

Supreme Court of Arkansas

Delivered November 8, 2001

Per Curiam. On November 23, 1999, the Arkansas Supreme Court Committee on Professional Conduct, through its Executive Director, filed a Complaint for Disbarment against Mr. Tucker in the Circuit Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas. The complaint demonstrated that Mr. Tucker had been convicted of two felonies. On September 29, 2000, the Pulaski County Circuit Court partially granted a motion for summary judgment in favor of the Committee. A hearing was scheduled for March 6 and 7, 2001, and then continued to October 1, 2001, to determine the appropriate sanction for Mr. Tucker's professional misconduct. Prior to the date set for the hearing, the Committee and Mr. Tucker entered into an Agreed Order of Disbarment. Pursuant to the order, the Pulaski County Circuit Court found that disbarment was the appropriate sanction and that Mr. Tucker's license to practice law in the State of Arkansas should be revoked. Mr. Tucker's name shall be removed from the registry of licensed attorneys, and he is barred and enjoined from engaging in the practice of law in this state.

It is so ordered.
