54.1-309. Board for Professional and Occupational Regulation; members,terms, chairman; meetings.

There shall be a Board for Professional and Occupational Regulation withinthe Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation. The Board shallconsist of nine members appointed by the Governor, subject to confirmation bythe General Assembly. Members shall serve for four-year terms and no membershall serve for more than two full successive terms. The chairman of theBoard shall be elected annually by the Board.

The Board shall meet at least four times annually, and on the call of thechairman when he deems additional meetings necessary.
