§ 183. Nicole Robin Day

The 4th day in August of each year shall be observed as “Nicole Robin Day” throughout the Virgin Islands, in commemoration of the safe return of the Nicole Robin and her crew on August 4, 1973, after a harrowing twenty-three day experience, most of which was spent in the hands of Communist Cuban Authorities. Nicole Robin Day shall be celebrated by appropriate ceremonies and festivities throughout the Virgin Islands giving thanks for the deliverance of the Nicole Robin and her crew.
