§ 182. Secretaries Week

The last week in April shall be observed as “Secretaries Week” throughout the Virgin Islands. At least fifteen (15) days prior to the beginning of Secretaries Week the Governor shall issue a proclamation calling upon all citizens of the Virgin Islands and in particular the employers of secretaries in Government and private enterprise to join together to give special recognition to the secretaries of the Virgin Islands. The Governor is authorized to appoint a committee each year to develop appropriate plans, programs and special events to mark the celebration of Secretaries Week.
