IN THE COURT OF CRIMINAL APPEALS OF TEXAS NO. PD-1226-18 MARK DAVID ZIMMERMAN, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS ON APPELLANT’S PETITION FOR DISCRETIONARY REVIEW FROM THE FIFTH COURT OF APPEALS GRAYSON COUNTY Per curiam. S LAUGHTER, J., dissented. OPINION Mark David Zimmerman (Appellant) filed a petition for discretionary review asking this Court to decide whether the trial court erred by denying his motion to suppress because the police did not have specific, articulable facts to prolong his detention beyond the mission of his traffic stop. Having considered the parties’ briefs and the record, however, we conclude that our decision to grant review was improvident. We therefore dismiss Appellant’s petition for discretionary review as improvidently granted. Delivered: June 17, 2020 Do Not Publish
