NO. 24063 IN THE SUPREME COURT OF THE STATE OF HAWAI#I _________________________________________________________________ STATE OF HAWAI#I, Plaintiff-Appellee, vs. CAMILLA MARIE ALULI, Defendant-Appellant. _________________________________________________________________ APPEAL FROM THE DISTRICT COURT OF THE FIRST CIRCUIT (TRAFFIC NO. 00-0223877) (By: ORDER Moon, C.J., Levinson, Nakayama, Ramil, and Acoba, JJ.) Upon consideration of Defendant-Appellant Camilla Marie Aluli s motion to dismiss her appeal, the papers in support, and the records and files herein, it appears that Appellant states in a declaration that: (1) she knows and understands she has a right to appeal from the district court judgment; (2) she knows that if this appeal is dismissed, the drunk-driving conviction will become final; and (3) after discussing the matter with her attorney, she wants to withdraw the appeal and have it dismissed. Therefore, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the motion to dismiss the appeal is granted, and this appeal is dismissed pursuant to HRAP Rule 42(b). DATED: Honolulu, Hawai#i, May 1, 2001.
