NO. 23910 IN THE SUPREME COURT OF THE STATE OF HAWAI#I LLEWELLYN K. WAILEHUA, JR., Plaintiff-Appellant and SONELAU LUPESOLIAI, et al., Plaintiffs vs. CORRECTIONS CORPORATION OF AMERICA, et al., Defendants-Appellees APPEAL FROM THE FIRST CIRCUIT COURT (CIV. NO. 99-1210) ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL (By: Moon, C.J., Levinson, Nakayama, Ramil, and Acoba, JJ.) Upon review of the record, it appears that final judgment has not been entered in Civil No. 99-1210. The appeal of the October 12, 2000 orders denying the motions for copies of pleadings and to transport legal materials is an appeal of interlocutory orders that were not certified for interlocutory appeal. Therefore, this appeal is premature and we lack jurisdiction. See HRS ยง 641-1(a). Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that this appeal is dismissed for lack of appellate jurisdiction. DATED: Honolulu, Hawai#i, April 26, 2001.
