United States of America, Plaintiff Appellee, v. Calvin W. Barfield, Defendant Appellant, 39 F.3d 1178 (4th Cir. 1994)Annotate this Case
Submitted Oct. 18, 1994. Decided Nov. 14, 1994
Calvin W. Barfield, Appellant Pro Se. Jerry Wayne Miller, OFFICE OF THE UNITED STATES ATTORNEY, Asheville, NC, for Appellee.
Before HALL and MICHAEL, Circuit Judges, and CHAPMAN, Senior Circuit Judge.
Appellant appeals from the district court's order denying his 28 U.S.C. § 2255 (1988) motion. Our review of the record and the district court's opinion discloses that this appeal is without merit. Accordingly, we affirm on the reasoning of the district court. United States v. Barfield, Nos. CR-85-75-SH; CA-92-154-4 (W.D.N.C. May 27, 1994). We dispense with oral argument because the facts and legal contentions are adequately presented in the materials before the Court and argument would not aid the decisional process.
