§ 55-182. Escheators to certify lands escheated
VA Code § 55-182 (2015) What's This?
Every escheator shall, within sixty days after inquisition found on behalf of the Commonwealth, transmit to the State Treasurer a certificate showing the number of tracts or lots escheated thereby, the reputed quantity of each parcel, a description sufficient to identify each parcel, and the names of the persons found to have died seised thereof, or from whom the land escheated.
