20.930 Attorney fees.

20.930 Attorney fees. Except as provided in ss. 5.05 (2m) (c) 7., 19.49 (2) (b) 6., 46.27 (7g) (h), 49.496 (3) (f), and 49.682 (6), no state agency in the executive branch may employ any attorney until such employment has been approved by the governor.

This section applies to principal administrative units and whatever agencies assist those units in administration and governance of the unit. Kaye v. Board of Regents, 158 Wis. 2d 664, 463 N.W.2d 398 (Ct. App. 1990).
