2005 Washington Revised Code RCW 82.72.020: Authorization to administer telephone program excise taxes.

    The department shall collect the telephone program excise taxes on behalf of the department of social and health services at no cost to the department of social and health services. The telephone program excise taxes shall be remitted to the department by local exchange companies on a tax return provided by the department. All telephone program excise taxes shall be deposited by the treasurer into the account described in RCW 43.20A.725 and the account described in RCW 80.36.430.
