2005 Washington Revised Code RCW 70.58.280: Penalty.

    (1) Every person who violates or willfully fails, neglects, or refuses to comply with any provisions of *this act is guilty of a misdemeanor and for a second offense shall be punished by a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars, and for a third and each subsequent offense shall be punished by a fine of not less than fifty dollars or more than two hundred and fifty dollars or by imprisonment for not more than ninety days, or by both fine and imprisonment.

         (2) Every person who willfully furnishes any false information for any certificate required by *this act or who makes any false statement in any such certificate is guilty of a gross misdemeanor.
