2005 Washington Revised Code RCW 46.08.170: Control of traffic on capitol grounds — Violations, traffic infractions, misdemeanors — Jurisdiction.
(1) Except as provided in subsection (2) of this section, any violation of a rule or regulation prescribed under RCW
46.08.150 is a traffic infraction, and the district courts of Thurston county shall have jurisdiction over such offenses: PROVIDED, That violation of a rule or regulation relating to traffic including parking, standing, stopping, and pedestrian offenses is a traffic infraction.
(2) Violation of such a rule or regulation equivalent to those provisions of Title
46 RCW set forth in RCW
46.63.020 remains a misdemeanor.
