2005 Washington Revised Code RCW 29A.60.180: Credit for voting — Retention of ballots.
Each registered voter casting an absentee ballot will be credited with voting on his or her voter registration record. Absentee ballots must be retained for the same length of time and in the same manner as ballots cast at the precinct polling places.
