2005 Washington Revised Code RCW 29A.44.460: Duties — Generally.

    The inspector and judges of election in each precinct shall conduct the elections therein and receive, deposit, and count the ballots cast thereat and make returns to the proper canvassing board or officer except that when two or more sets of precinct election officers are appointed as provided in RCW 29A.44.450, the ballots shall be counted by the counting board or boards as provided in RCW 29A.44.250, 29A.44.280, and 29A.84.730.
