63.2-410. State pool of funds under the Comprehensive Services Act.

The General Assembly and the governing body of each county and city shallappropriate such sum or sums of money for use by the community policy andmanagement teams through the state pool of funds established in Chapter 52 (2.2-5200 et seq.) of Title 2.2 as shall be sufficient to provide basic fostercare services for children who are identified as being at risk, as determinedby policy developed by the Board, or who are under the custody and control ofthe local board. The local governing body of each county and city shallappropriate such sums of money as necessary for the purchase of such otheressential social services to children and adults under such conditions as maybe prescribed by the Board in accordance with federally reimbursed publicassistance and social service programs.
