2006 Code of Virginia § 63.2-1806 - Hospice care

63.2-1806. Hospice care.

Notwithstanding 63.2-1805, at the request of the resident, hospice care maybe provided in an assisted living facility under the same requirements forhospice programs provided in Article 7 ( 32.1-162.1 et seq.) of Chapter 5 ofTitle 32.1, if the hospice program determines that such program isappropriate for the resident.

Further, an entity licensed as an assisted living facility may concurrentlyhold a license as a hospice as defined in 32.1-162.1 and mayprovide hospice care to residents of such assisted living facility.
