63.2-1736. Interagency agreements; cooperation of Department with otherdepartments.

The Department is authorized to enter into interagency agreements with otherstate agencies to develop and implement regulations. Any state agencyidentified by the Department as appropriate to include in an interagencyagreement shall participate in the development and implementation of theagreement. The Department shall assist and cooperate with other statedepartments in fulfilling their respective inspection responsibilities and incoordinating the regulations involving inspections. The Board may adoptregulations allowing the Department to so assist and cooperate with otherstate departments.
