63.2-1733. Regulations for adult day care centers.

A. The Board shall have the authority to adopt and enforce regulations tocarry out the provisions of this subtitle and to protect the health, safety,welfare, and individual rights of participants of adult day care centers andto promote their highest level of functioning.

B. Regulations shall include standards for care and services to be providedto participants; administration of medication; staffing; staff qualificationsand training; and facility design, construction, and equipment.
