60.2-626. Oaths and witnesses; subpoenas.

In the discharge of the duties imposed by this title, the chairman of anappeal tribunal and any duly authorized representative or member of theCommission shall have power to administer oaths and affirmations, takedepositions, certify to official acts, and issue subpoenas to compel theattendance of witnesses and the production of books, papers, correspondence,memoranda, and other records deemed necessary as evidence in connection witha disputed claim or the administration of this title.
