59.1-21.11:1. Waiver of constitutional rights prohibited.

Any provision in any agreement or franchise subject to the provisions of thischapter purporting to waive or to directly or indirectly limit theconstitutional rights of a dealer (i) to petition any governmental authorityor body or (ii) lawfully to seek or oppose any governmental or regulatoryaction with respect to any matter, notwithstanding any contrary positiontaken by the franchisor thereon, shall be null and void.
