55-53. Vendor's equitable lien abolished.

If any person hereafter convey any real estate and the purchase money or anypart thereof remain unpaid at the time of the conveyance, he shall notthereby have a lien for such unpaid purchase money, unless such lien isexpressly reserved on the face of the conveyance.
