2006 Code of Virginia § 55-196 - Escheators to defend on behalf of Commonwealth

55-196. Escheators to defend on behalf of Commonwealth.

The escheator shall answer and defend on the part of the Commonwealth anysuch suit against him or any petition filed under 55-176 and shall beallowed the costs incurred by him in defending the same.
