55-137.2. Same; when clerk has died.

Any deed or other instrument or writing spread before July 1, 1995, upon theproper deed book in the clerk's office of the circuit court of any county orany court of record of any city, when the clerk of such court failed to signthe certificate of recordation thereof and afterwards died and any will orother instrument or writing spread before July 1, 1995, upon the proper willbook in any such clerk's office, when such clerk failed to sign thecertificate of probate and recordation thereof and afterwards died shall beas valid, and of the same force and effect, as if such certificate ofrecordation, or certificate of probate and recordation, had been signed bysuch clerk at the time such deed, will or other instrument or writing was sospread of record.
