2006 Code of Virginia § 54.1-909 - License as limited branch pilot

54.1-909. License as limited branch pilot.

Any apprentice may apply to the Board for a license as a limited branchpilot. The Board may grant him a license after proper examination if in theopinion of the Board the applicant is qualified. The Board may endorse on thelicense a limitation of draft or ship units as deemed proper and a limitedbranch pilot shall perform his duties of piloting and conducting vesselswithin the limitation imposed by his license.
