54.1-4405. Board of Accountancy Fund; receipts; disbursements.

The Board of Accountancy Fund (the Fund) is established as a special fund inthe state treasury. Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, all feescollected as provided in this chapter and by regulations promulgated by theBoard, shall be paid into the state treasury immediately upon collection andcredited to the Fund. Any interest income shall accrue to the Fund. Alldisbursements from the Fund shall be made by the State Treasurer uponwarrants of the Comptroller issued upon vouchers signed by an authorizedofficer of the Board or the Director as authorized by the Board.

Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, the Board shall have the discretionto use the moneys deposited in the fund to support its operations as theBoard deems appropriate.
