54.1-3308. Power of inspection.

The members of the Board and their duly authorized agents shall have thepower to inspect in a lawful manner the drugs, cosmetics and devices whichare manufactured, stored or dispensed in the Commonwealth. For this purposethe Board shall have the right to enter and inspect during business hours anypharmacy, or any other place in Virginia where drugs, cosmetics or devicesare manufactured, stored or dispensed. The Board shall report any evidence ofviolation of the provisions of this chapter or Chapter 34 ( 54.1-3400 etseq.) of this title by practitioners for action to the appropriate licensingboard. The report shall constitute a pending complaint upon which theappropriate licensing board shall initiate action within thirty days.
