54.1-2928. Temporary certificates or licenses to out-of-state applicants.

The executive director of the Board may, upon recommendation of a CredentialsCommittee established within the Board, issue temporary certificates orlicenses to out-of-state applicants when the Board is not in session. Suchtemporary certificates or licenses shall be valid until the next regularsession of the Board, at which session the holder shall, in the discretion ofthe Board, or unless excused by the Board for cause, appear in person beforethe Credentials Committee and upon its approval be granted a certificate orlicense in due form.
