46.2-406. Appointment and authority of hearing officers.

The Commissioner may appoint one or more persons to conduct the hearingsprovided for in this title. The hearing officers are hereby authorized toadminister oaths, take acknowledgments and affidavits, take testimony anddepositions, and perform other duties which are incidental to conducting thehearings.
