46.2-366. Partial application to certain motor vehicles.

This chapter, except its provisions as to the requirements of making reportsof motor vehicle accidents and as to the filing of proof of financialresponsibility by a common carrier for its drivers, shall not apply to anymotor vehicle:

1. Operated under a certificate of convenience and necessity issued by theState Corporation Commission, if public liability and property damageinsurance for the protection of the public is required to be carried on it, or

2. Owned by the Commonwealth.
