46.2-341.23. Offenses under substantially similar laws.

Except as otherwise provided, whenever in this Act reference is made to anoffense which is a violation of a provision of this Code, such referenceshall be deemed to include offenses under any local ordinance, any federallaw, any law of another state or any local ordinance of another state,substantially similar to such provision of this Code.
