46.2-1992.63. When plates to expire; refunds or credit.

Temporary license plates shall expire on the receipt of the permanent licenseplates from the Department, or on the rescission of a contract to purchase atrailer, or on the expiration of, or thirty days from the date of issuance,whichever occurs first. No refund or credit of fees paid by dealers to theDepartment for temporary license plates shall be allowed, except that whenthe Department discontinues the right of a dealer to issue temporary licenseplates, the dealer, on returning temporary license plates to the Department,may receive a refund or a credit for them.
