46.2-1904. Commissioner's powers with respect to hearings under thischapter.

The Commissioner may, in hearings arising under this chapter, determine theplace in the Commonwealth where they shall be held; subpoena witnesses; takedepositions of witnesses residing outside the Commonwealth in the mannerprovided for in civil actions in courts of record; pay these witnesses thefees and mileage for their attendance as is provided for witnesses in civilactions in courts of record; and administer oaths.
