46.2-1504. Board's powers with respect to hearings under this chapter.

The Board may, in hearings arising under this chapter, except as provided forin Article 7 ( 46.2-1566 et seq.), determine the place in the Commonwealthwhere they shall be held; subpoena witnesses; take depositions of witnessesresiding outside the Commonwealth in the manner provided for in civil actionsin courts of record; pay these witnesses the fees and mileage for theirattendance as is provided for witnesses in civil actions in courts of record;and administer oaths.
