44-68. Jurisdiction and procedure.

The courts-martial and deck courts herein provided for shall be constitutedand have cognizance of the same subjects and possess like powers, except asto punishments, as similar courts-martial provided for in the navy of theUnited States; and the proceedings of courts-martial of the naval militiashall follow the forms and modes of procedure prescribed for such courts inthe navy of the United States.
