44-32.1. Administration of oaths of office and enlistment.

Any duly commissioned officer or warrant officer of the Virginia NationalGuard or any commissioned officer of any of the armed services of the UnitedStates may administer the oaths of office and enlistment to prospectiveofficers and enlisted personnel desirous of becoming members of the VirginiaNational Guard and the National Guard of the United States. Any dulycommissioned officer of the Virginia State Guard, when called into service bythe Governor, may administer oaths to prospective officers and enlistedpersonnel desirous of becoming members of the state guard of Virginia.
