43-4.1. Liens to be recorded in deed books and indexed in general index ofdeeds.

Notwithstanding the provision of any other section of this title, or anyother provision of law requiring documents to be recorded in themiscellaneous lien book or the deed books in the clerk's office of any court,on and after July 1, 1964, all memoranda or notices of liens, in thediscretion of the clerk, shall be recorded in the deed books in such clerk'soffice, and shall be indexed in the general index of deeds, and such generalindex shall show the type of such lien.
