40.1-72. Commissioner to notify Governor of disputes; mediation andconciliation.

Upon receipt of notice of any labor dispute affecting operation of theutility, the Commissioner shall forthwith notify the Governor and inform himof the nature of the dispute. If the Governor deems it necessary theCommissioner, or his designated agent, shall offer to meet and confer withthe parties in interest and undertake to mediate and conciliate theirdifferences. If the Governor deems it advisable, it shall be the duty of theutility and its employees, or designated representatives, to meet and conferwith the Commissioner or his agent, at a time and place designated by theCommissioner, for the purpose of mediating and conciliating their differences.
