38.2-4127. Annual license.

Societies now authorized to do business in this Commonwealth may continuesuch business until June 30, 1987. The authority of such societies and allsocieties hereafter licensed may thereafter be renewed annually, but in allcases will terminate on June 30. However, a license so issued shall continuein effect until the new license is issued or specifically refused. For eachsuch license or renewal the society shall pay the Commission twenty dollars.A duly certified copy or duplicate of such license shall be prima facieevidence that the licensee is a fraternal benefit society within the meaningof this chapter.
