38.2-3540. Legal actions.

Each group accident and sickness insurance policy shall contain a provisionthat no action at law or in equity shall be brought to recover on the policywithin sixty days after proof of loss has been filed in accordance with thepolicy requirements and that no such action shall be brought after theexpiration of three years from the time that proof of loss was required to befiled.
