38.2-3103. Fraudulent procurement of policy; penalty.

A. No person shall knowingly secure, attempt to secure or cause to be secureda life insurance policy on any person who is not in an insurable condition bymeans of misrepresentations or false or fraudulent statements.

B. An insurance agent who violates this section shall be subject to penaltiesunder 38.2-1831 in addition to the penalties of 38.2-218.
