38.2-129. Home protection insurance.

"Home protection insurance" means any contract or agreement whereby aperson undertakes for a specified period of time and for a predetermined feeto furnish, arrange for, or indemnify for service, repair, or replacement ofany or all of the structural components, parts, appliances, or systems of anycovered residential dwelling caused by wear and tear, deterioration, inherentdefect, or by the failure of any inspection to detect the likelihood offailure.
