37.2-417. Proceeding to prevent unlawful operation of service.

In case any service is being operated in violation of the provisions of thisarticle or of any applicable regulations made under these provisions, theCommissioner, in addition to other remedies, may institute any appropriateaction or proceedings against the provider to prevent the unlawful operationand to restrain, correct, or abate such violation or violations. Any actionor proceeding shall be instituted in the circuit court of the county or citywhere the provider is located or conducts business, and the court shall havejurisdiction to enjoin the unlawful operation or the violation or violations.
