33.1-248. Expenditure of funds upon interstate bridges and approaches.

The Commonwealth Transportation Commissioner may expend from funds now orhereafter available for construction or maintenance of roads, either alone orin cooperation with public road authorities of other states, such funds as hemay deem necessary for the construction, maintenance, operation and repair ofinterstate highway bridges, tunnels and approaches forming connecting linksbetween roads now or hereafter in the systems of state highways and publicroads of other states.
